Hi,

thanks, this module/block is exactly what I need.

While fooling around with it I found out that I get a "Warning: Division by zero in /home/m2ptest/public_html/moodle/blocks/attendance/lib.php on line 195" on the report page whenever I set the points for "present" to 0 - (which could make sense if I set the others to negative points)

Just wanted to let you know.

Paul

Thank you very much!

Your message has forced me to think about calculating percents.
I has understood that percent are calculated wrong not only when "present" set to 0. This also when "absent" isn't equal 0.

I correct this in the near future!

Perfect.

I was missing this module.

When I do the attendance for a day, I can`t modify it. Is it right?

Best regards

Hi Dmitry,

Great block and module! I just had two questions for you. What files do I need to modify to add more categories in the settings page? and What file(s) do I need to modify the report output from day.month to month.day? Oh, sorry, one more question where can I go to change some of the layout of the page? styles.php?

Thank you for a great block and any response to the above,

Deon

This feature require changes in database. I don't recommend to do this by itself.

> I need to modify the report output from day.month to month.day?
This feature will be accessible in next version.

> where can I go to change some of the layout of the page?
Sorry, I don't understand what you want.

Dear Dmitry--

I have installed your block, but I wonder why the absent field is marked as default.  I changed line 138 of updateAttendance.php to

            $pchecked = 'checked';

where is was originally
            $achecked = 'checked';

I think that most of my students come to class, so it is less clicking to mark "absences" than to mark "presents".

Thank you for your block!  I like it very much!

But in my position nobody can not be forget... wink

PS: This not important because in next version of block you will be able "select all" in any column.
