Please keep attention on coypright protection legal issues and discussions.
In some countries its not allowed to create link collections including descriptions from external sources without permissions. I.e. there is a German copyright protection regulation that small parts/snippets of a copyright protected source can not be used on external sites without permission. A snippet can be the headline or the teaser text. This lex Google regulation was pushed by press publishers. There is an ongoing discussion in EU about new copyright regulations. Press publishers have a lot of influence on this discussion.
Even if in copyright regulation special permissions are given to educational area a platform driven by Moodle is not part of this education privilege because Moodle is not educational institution.
An other aspect of these EU regulation are upload filters. Platform owners will be responsible for uploaded content if the content is inappropriate or against copyright protection. This may also include links to external sources.
Its not been decided about these issues finally, but we should keep an eye in the discussion.
