Totally agree! I feel there is a conflict on interest between offering a paid service and providing detailed instructions for people to do the same thing for free!
I would imagine any organisation who uses Moodle would love their own branded app but considering there only handful of apps currently on App Store suggest that only the ones who can afford to pay for the app from Moodle have their own app.
