Hi there, there may be a really simple answer out there but I'm not finding it! LOL...
Is there a way to prevent someone from taking a course again on the same enrollment? I need to keep their records for a full year. Their training certificate is valid for one year after which they are unenrolled, but some users go back in before the year is up and do the training again on the same enrollment. So, they get an updated certificate, but when their enrollment expires, all their training records are gone (because I have the enrollment set to delete after 365 days.)
So, I guess what i want to happen is they go in and take the course and pass, get a valid training certificate. And then they can't do the course again until one year has passed.
I've asked them to unenroll before taking the course again, but most never do.
This has been asked so many times (I keep thinking someone will come up with a plugin - maybe they have, have you looked?)...the normal answer is to duplicate the course each year - this has the benefit of also being able to update it with any changes and being able to keep a historical record of the courses done...
Thanks, yeah I know I've been reading! LOL... I actually have done exactly that. Duplicated the course for this year, and archived last years, but I just worry some people will go in and do the course again 8 to 10 months from now.
Thanks Emma, I'll go look through the plugins again too!
