Thank you for your response. I was not totally clear on why the current competency to Learning Plan relationships are challenging in a corporate environment.
The corporate learning world goes through business changes that obsolete, rename and reorganize data structures frequently.
Selecting all of the children in the tree view quickly, is not an issue. Sequencing them by the ID vs. manually moving them one-by-one, like the course category would be the desired functionality.
Setting framework to not visible (hide), did not remove the learning plan from the student's view during my initial testing. Maybe there is a cron job that needs to run, or run more often? Or the functionality does work as expected. I am not concerned an admin picking the wrong competencies, I am concerned with the students' view of their learning plan(s).
The migrate frameworks is not that intuitive to use. I have looked at it several times, but moving course competencies from the old framework to a new course is not really the functionality I was looking for. I need to reorganize an existing structure, because my business reorganized a department. I need to move a framework to a new category.
