Also ... think about it a minute ... the backup routine cannot do Vulcan Mind Melds with the user executing the backups. Thus the backup file created by that routine is going to do it's thing in a safe/secure manner - now I don't have Vulcan Mind Meld with programmers, so that's a guess.
