I am running moodle version 3.6.1, on IIS 8.5, php 7.2 and MariaDB 10.3. When running under http - localhost the site works fine. When I follow the steps under https://docs.moodle.org/36/en/Transitioning_to_HTTPS - transitioning to https, the site will not open up - no login page. All i get is the "site cannot be reached". If I switch to http again I can get in without issue. I am not sure if this is a moodle or IIS issue. can someone maybe point me in the right direction? The SSL cert shows as valid and installed. Its an external cert - not self-signed. I am presently only trying to access the site internally right now.
I got this working. For some reason I had to restart the Server 2012. Why, I am not sure. But I can now log in under https. Thanks
