I'm working on a set of courses mainly for individual users. I want them to be able to make a Glossary each (if they want) that only they and teachers+ can see. For example, user Aya opens a Glossary in course Colours, and starts making their own entries for 'mauve' and 'periwinkle'. Ideally, an individual Glossary would hide these entries from other users.
The workaround I've seen is to allow student submissions, require approval and then never approve them. But I don't want to have to rely on teachers+ remembering which entries not to approve, as this is bound to fail at some point.
I've had a look at Databases as well, which also lack this feature. This link (https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=51992 opens in new window) discusses this more.
Finally, Wiki activities (or the simpler 'OU wiki') allow individual settings like I need, but both wikis require a large amount of overheard for user training. I'm trying to keep these courses as accessible as possible, and I want to include users with minimal tech experience and confidence.
(The maintenance mode message for moodle forums is counting down, so apologies for any typos!)
Ta very much,
