I am able to setup the certificate and the content, was able see the preview of the certificate. But I am unable to see the options mentioned in the documentation to add the certificate to the course. I am using 3.4 and downloaded the relevant plugin to the version. Appreciate any help with this.Thanks in advance

The images you have supplied would suggest you are trying to create a new course with associated settings.
I believe you should "add and activity or resource" from within an existing course... then select Custom certificate from the list.
Now you should see the settings you seek.
