I'm running a new install of 3.5.2 on a Linux machine with 1GB of RAM. My mysql process (viewed through Cpanel> Terminal with top command) was running super high... 36.5% when I checked after having some course loading issues which I deduced were memory related.
I rebooted the server and when I launched my Moodle site, the mysql process started at about 7.5% memory usage... it then slowly climbed, about 1% in about 30 minutes of me just launching/completing SCORM courses as a test user.
Then I opened a course report (records of around 400 attempts for around the same number of users) which is set to display 600 lines... and the memory usage jumped by around 3% and then didn't go down. I had another install on the same server which still had the database formatted as Antelope, and pulling up a similar sized report jumped the memory usage by an additional 5%.
Does this seem normal? Is it a problem that the mysql memory usage never went down, even when I closed down the window and had zero users online?
For the last 20 minutes with zero activity, it has just hung there at 16.7%
Any advice and insights would be appreciated!
