So I'm baffled by an issue I'm having with a new 3.5.2 install. Everything works great until I launch a single-activity SCORM package course and it hangs. A trace (see screenshot) shows that there's a bunch of 500 errors being thrown frompluginfile.php, presumable because it can't find the images or do what it does with them. This causes, I'm assuming, the 'drawImage' error and causes the course to hang.
If I launch the course multiple times, each time the list of 500 errors decreases (because the images are loading in?) until after 4 or 5 back to back launches, it finally loads properly and the trace shows no 500 errors and thus, no 'drawImage' error.
So what I think is happening is that Moodle isn't serving up the images fast enough? Is there something I can do to speed it up? I gone through Performance docs and shut down filters, etc but I'm out of ideas.
ALSO, the same course launches fine from the same server where I also have an old Moodle 2.6 site.
Anything anyone can suggest would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!
you should enable Moodle debugging and inspect some of the HTTP responses with HTTP Status code being 500: I'm guessing that the plain response will give you hints about the reason why the code is breaking on serving those files.
