I'm a complete newbie on moodle, but I'm used to work with PHP. I couldn't find any documentation over customizing the date range filter from the report plugin. Is there a way to do that?
I basically need it to have a longer length of time applied by default or better: make it do not apply until the user set up a date range. 

What's happening now is that the date range is set up to 1 day before and 1 day later, and very granular (with hours options) so whenever I'm applying other filters, it apply this super narrow timeframe as well.

Any way of customizing this? Any documentation on that that someone could point me out?

I'm on moodle 3.17
