Hi, 

I am using the custom certificate module and have a course that results in a ID card and a certificate.  The ID card can be printed from PDF, and Moodle has all the user and course information, so I thought I would try generating the ID card design using the certificate module.  It works great, however, I don't want the student to see it, or require them to click on the button to view and generate the certificate.  I was hoping it could be generated based on course completion or maybe another activity completion.  Is there anyway to pull this off?  I don't really see any other report plug-in that generates PDFs.

Hi David,

When you configure the report set a restricted access to whichever setting you wish.  Make sure the 'eye' is closed (see below)

That does seem to work, however if I change the visibility to hidden from students, it does not.  Would that be the expected behavior?
