No field for alternative e-mail

I have activated messagingallowemailoverride, but cannot find additional field in the profile page. Is there anything more I should do?

Using moodle 3.4.4

The section in the documentation Messaging settings suggest you go to Preferences>Notification preferences and click the Email  icon.
