Custom Certificate - are PDF files saved or built dynamically?

Hi all,

Thinking about my TCPDF error post previously.

Does the Custom Certificate save the PDF documents or does it build the certificate dynamically when the user clicks the link?

If the certificate is built dynamically then file size accumulation becomes much less of an issue for big groups.

Hope someone can clarify for me.

It is generated on the fly.
