Indeed the current version offers a menu in this form:

we are therefore obliged to click on "View the Menu" to make it appear and in this form:

I would like to have a horizontal menu of this kind

and if possible have drop-down menus

If someone has a track I am a taker.

Thank you in advance for all your feedback.

My problem is the same as this one https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=365888 but I do not see how the problem has been solved.

 Thank you

Hello everyone

I'm coming back with this post, to see if anyone had an idea to add a vertical drop-down menu to my homepage like this:

Not necessarily the same design but just a vertical drop menu.

FYI: I have moodle 3.5+ with adaptable theme 1.7

I have been looking for several days but it is without follow-up, I need help or referrals.

Thanks for your help

You can have dropdown menus - just go to Theme Settings and you can set up dropdown menus right there or in Adaptable, the Header Menus area has the same functionality or the NavBar tools...

First, tell you that this is not a problem. It's an Adaptable feature that allow the use of more menus than a single line.

If you don't want to use this feature then and you can go back to the classic way. See this comment that explain you very well how to do it: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=377302#p1521323

Hello Fernando Acedo

Following the instructions here is what I did:

1 - I activated the Tool Menus

2 - I first set the number of menu a 2

3 - Ensuite j'ai configuré les 2 Menus et leur aspect déroulant

    Menu Outils

When I save, in the menu bar I have nothing displayed that may be that I missed a setting?

Thank you

Can you try Menus de l'en-tête instead?

I think you want to display the menus all the time and the menu used is only visible to the users not the guests.

yes I want to display the menu all the time and it is visible to all. but not in a grouped menu on another page

In this case, how can this menu be seen by the guests?

because the header menu comes bundled into a single button.

you first have to click on this button to see the rest of the menu.

which is not suitable.

that's why I want an uncompressed menu.

I want to try to reproduce the same menu as this site http://igl17.ispfr.net/moodle/

Thank
