What does "automated backup are already running. Execution delayed"?

I tried to run it via the gui and I got this.. cron.php runs every minute that it is called

I want to see if this is cause of the high memory, cpu and db resources that causes quiz users to kick them out and makes moodle not usable.

Hi

When you said "I tried to run it via the gui", you meant the automatic backup, I assume. But then, how do you kick the automatic backup manually - via GUI, I mean?
