Custom certificate (plugin)

So, there is no way I know to stop the mass email when you first enable (this is because all those certificates have already been issued - after the initial mass email, they will just get emails for new ones issued), but for the date, you can set it to the completion date or the completion of an activity date etc...that you can fix...
