I'm facilitating a course using Moodle and have questions about how to set up email notifications for my students. I want students to receive an email whenever a new post is added to a discussion forum. The course is organized by week, and each week has at least one discussion forum. I've tried a couple of things without success ( I want to test the process myself before sending out instructions to my students) including:
- clicking on the subscribe icon beside individual posts I want to subscribe to
- Editing my forum preferences to indicate that I want to receive email notifications about posts.
What am I doing wrong?
