We recently put an SSL cert on our moodle site, the https version of the site loads but with no theme or template. The http still loads fine. Any suggestions?

There is a special tool in 3.5.x for converting http:// to https://
Via browser URL after logging on as admin:
http://yoursite/admin/tool/httpsreplace/
Also in config.php file ... change URL to site from http:// to https://
