php limits: allocated 60817408 for memory usage ... total
upgrade needed more ... the "tried to allocate 1204224 bytes"
needed approx. 1.2 Meg more memory and couldn't get the memory.
If you are hosted on shared hosting ... not dedicated ... could be the account you have is restricted to a max memory and no more ... even if you can set values higher in php.ini for whatever/however you are running the AMP stack can't go over the limit.
Did you set that memory in the correct php.ini file ... can't see it now ... so suggest creating a phpinfo.php file and put it at the root of your site.
The only thing in the phpinfo.php file is this one line:
<? phpinfo(); ?>
Then hit the site with /phpinfo.php at the end.
Look for which PHP ini file your server is using as well as other settings.
If you have ssh access, there is an upgrade.php script in moodlecode/admin/cli/
If you use that to upgrade, it takes apache out of the loop ... just php and the backend database involved then.
You might have to contact provider to see what's up with limitations to your account/server.
