I'm pretty certain that's not how I fixed it last time, or the jpegs would be in the back-up. I suspect it was just a hack that cut the bottom, including the strip for the navbar, out of sight, out of mind.
But I've done it now. If anyone else might have use of versions of a set of headers and borders that lift 70px out of the splash zone, I'll happily supply.
