Urgent: Very slow Moodle 3.5

Moodle is running very slow when we try to use the assignment activity or any other activity that has student !!!
However, once we deactivate the assignment activity, Moodle start to run very fast,
Any idea what would be the problem ?

Noting that, we installed the Turnitin plagiarism so that we could activate turnitin within the assignment activity !!!

Hi Mario,
please start playing with two tools, quite used by Moodlers:

  1. https://moodle.org/plugins/report_benchmark: its score is a nice indicator to start investigating and still a valid tool to create a baseline; the lower the better. In https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=335357 you'll find some data to make a comparison with yours
  2. if you're using MySQ-ish, give https://github.com/major/MySQLTuner-perl a try (search in the Moodle.org Community for past posts about this script)

I have run the benchmark test and this the result 

any idea how to check the harddrive state/ temp folder and how to change them ?
