I understand that the students cannot currently use the audio and video recording buttons in an essay questions because they are not allowed to upload anything into that field. However, it would be incredibly useful to have that be an option.
I have a faculty member who has students complete a questionnaire at the beginning of his courses to ask about their interest in his topic, etc. He also wants to ask them to record themselves saying their name so that he can more easily learn how to pronounce names that might be difficult to sort out by reading on paper.
