My name is Bhakti. I am based in Bangalore, India.
I am new to Moodle LMS
My question relates to registering/enrolling students on Moodle so that they can enrol in a Course
The set up for enrolment gives me the options of
Manual Accounts and Email-based Self Registration
I would like to know what is the difference between the two
When is each option advisable to use.

Hello. If you are new to Moodle please read the documentation Admin quick guide and then Teacher quick guide (Both those are documentation links)
Also be aware than "enrolment" means how students get into courses whereas "authentication" means how they get accounts on the Moodle site. Manual accounts means you the admin create accounts for them and Email-based self-registration means you let them create their own accounts.
