If the issue is with Moodle 3.5 and above we can probably do something to show the breadcumbs in 3.4

We are not using 1.7.1 ourselves yet on Moodle 3.4 so will need to do something to improve this.

Until that is done your only option would be to drop back to 1.7, however Moodle does not allow you to downgrade plugins so you would either have to drop the version in your database (the better option) or increment the version in adaptable 1.7.

The latter is easier, just make sure you only increment one number above the version you have to avoid future upgrades being seen as downgrades if that makes sense.

This has been fixed so breadcrumbs now appear.  An official version hasn't been released that includes this fix, but if you could take the latest version from the Bitbucket repository in this branch: https://bitbucket.org/covuni/moodle-theme_adaptable/branch/version-1.7.2-2018091900 and test this works, that would be great.  Obviously to put on a test system first, if you have one.
