We provide a lot of free community support for a range of plugins (including facetoface) but there is a limit to what we can do. (Just like there is a limit to the amount of staff HQ has for fixing moodle core bugs.)
If this is a critical issue for you, you may want to contract your local moodle partner to help you with a fix or as you mentioned, you may find another activity that suits your needs better.
