Cannot find HTTPS Conversion Tool in the Moodle directory

This seems strange to me. I've been able to find other plugins in the Moodle directory and install them without issue, but I cannot seem to find: https://docs.moodle.org/35/en/HTTPS_conversion_tool

Is it still available? Is there a zip file available for it anywhere?

I'm on Moodle 3.5

Thanks!

Particularly helpful Moodlers

You do have a valid Certificate from a CA (they issue certs) ... and it's installed ... correct?

Site can respond to https:// ... and the lock in the URL line of the browser shows green or a broken icon?

Check your config.php file for the variable wwwroot ... which is a url.   Does it have http://site or https://site?

The two ... what's in DB and what's in config.php .., need to match.

That tool is supposed to be part of core now ... not an addon.

There may not be a link in the admin menus for it so ....

Go to: http://yoursite/admin/tool/httpsreplace/

If it is there, strongly suggest making a backup of your DB before using.

If it's not there, how was the Moodle installed?

It's standard in Moodle so  you won't find it in the Plugins directory. I realised when looking at the docs HTTPS conversion tool that it wasn't clear where to find it, so I updated the docs; thanks for the heads up.

You'll find it linked to from the HTTP security page, or else by typing admin/tool/httpsreplace/index.php after the URL of your Moodle site.
