adding a text editor in a content page of lesson mod in mobile app

hi eveyone,

these days this question have really makes my thought busy.

in moodle app and specially in the new version, don't we have any and any way to add a simple text editor that user could write something there in our lesson module?

i mean a code or something that we add it to content page part of lesson mod?

thanks

Particularly helpful Moodlers

Well, you can add a generic text area box with HTML anywhere ... but text input won’t ‘stay’ after the user leaves the page.  What exactly are you aiming to do with the text box? Doesn’t the lesson module have an ‘essay question’ that would serve this purpose? I don’t use the lesson module but I’m curious of what you’re wanting as the end goal.

we want somehow a code editor that would pass the data. after asking this question i found out that there is a text editor component which is used in forum module too. i can use that in lesson too. but i wanna go one step farther and have a code editor. so the only way is to write a typescript file as the text editor? that would be difficult i think.
