Backup error and now lots more errors

Moodle 3.2.2


I was trying to backup all our courses in advance of the Turnitin plugin being installed by our web hosts on Monday and Tuesday (this has so far failed twice).  One course kept reaching about 98% and then giving an error which I can't provide a screen shot for as it's now changed.  It is a very large course with about 25 MP4 clips


Now everything I'm trying to do regarding backups, even changing from manual to auto generates an error.

Trying to backup any course is giving another error also shown below. 

Clicking More Information gets this


I've logged out.  Clicked on a course and logged back in to get the message below

Now I can't log in at all.  Any ideas?  I am quite worried!

There is no message shown. Did you mean to attach something. 

If possible copy and paste error messages into the text.

I did paste them but it hasn't worked.  I've dragged three of them in below

I have finally managed to log back in but I keep getting the Log in error message and now when I close it I get the message below and the screen goes straight back to the log in screen.

I left this alone for a couple of weeks and have just tried again.  I am now getting the original error, please see below.

Things I would check:

  • Make sure you have enough storage space in Moodledata.
  • Check Moodledata folder permissions and that it is writeable by your Moodle service account.
Then turn the Moodle Debugging level up to DEVELOPER and see if you get any more detailed error messages.
