I have read all the post I can find on this matter.
We have installed the face-to-face plugin and using moodle 3.5.
We have created the user profile field 'Managers email' and short name managersemail .
We have enter a default in the field and locked it and hidden it as we want to be notified for approving users into the activity.
I have gone backwards and forwards checking all the fields and spelling and cannot fix the problem of when the user tries to register it informs them that they do not have a manger assigned.
"You are currently not assigned to a manager in the system. Please contact the site administrator."
The scenario is that we want the user to register, and an Administrator gets the managers email to approve the user onto the course.
I am becoming very frustrated, can someone please HELP!!!!
