Hi,

Is it possible to make the PDF inside the folder to be preview as embedded as normal PDF file upload ? Currently PDF file is in folder is only having download option.


Kindly suggest any ides to make pdf inside the folder to be look like PDF embedded in the same page.

Hi Maya

I don't think you can get a preview of the files in a Folder.

The intention of a Folder of files is to make it easy to present a large number of files, and allow users to download them easily. The aim of the Folder resource therefore is not to display the files, but links to them. As you say, you may be able to preview .pdf files in other ways (provided the viewer has a .pdf reader or browser plugin to render these).

I think what Maya suggested is that just like we do in File resource, or other places, that when we click on the PDF link, it shows in the browser PDF viewer instead of force download.
It looks like it is being fixed on MDL-28501
