Yes, I think so, as I can see them under Site administrators. There's below a screen shot from the production site.
On the backup, I can't see it, so it seems I would be like a "manager" as you mentioned.
"Take the live site offline" would mean put it under maintenance mode, right?
"Take a manual backup" would mean making a backup of the whole website, right? Is there an option for that? I can only see that for courses.
I would still need to talk with my manager about this, but I would like to have the information to discuss it.
