I have Moodle 3.4 running with Google oauth2, and was trying to add a custom oauth2 configuration for OrcID, in order to allow ORCId to act as an IdP. (See orcid.org for reference)
The token and authenticate endpoints seem to work fine, and I'm redirected to orcid for authentication and back, but then apparently do not receive any userinfo data and get an error.
"No user information was returned. The OAuth 2 service may be configured incorrectly."
Are there any useful troubleshooting tools (for instance to track the rest requests and errors inside Moodle?
Has someone else tried to create this integration and have a working solution they can point me at?
