Guest access and Self enrollment methods can't work together?

Hello there!


I have an issue with my Moodle version 2.7

I have enabled guest access to my course but also self enrollment method. My students are seeing both which it doesn't make sense. I thought guest access will be only visible to Guest role for users that click on the Login as Guest button (both enabled in my system)... any help with this?

it seems that this problem does not affect currently supported versions of Moodle because I wasn't able to reproduce it (so I guess it was fixed). Thus, you are recommended to upgrade your installation in order to take advantage of recent fixes and improvements. See https://docs.moodle.org/en/Upgrading for details.
