With Moodle 3.1 (and maybe other versions) , in Assignment settings, you have in the "Notifications" section:
The English language let us think that this could be changed in the real place this setting is set, probably to "NO" but, if we don't change the default setting, it will be "Yes".
It happens as expected for some assignments: While grading, we have the possibility to change the "notify" option:
Yet, for other assignments in the same course, attempting to grade the same user's attempts, the choice is disabled, and the value is "No" even if the default value is yes:
So, could someone tell me:
- For which reason, knowing that the option is still enabled in other assignments in the same course, for the same user, the option is disabled and set to "No"?
- How can we re-enable the option?
