Importing quiz results into discussion board?

Hi there,

In my course, students have to do some activities like filling in forms, open ended quizzes and surveys. I was wondering if it is possible for the students to import their answers into discussion board to share and comment on them.

Some points to note:

1. It is a collaborative work so the students do activities on their own and then compare and discuss them.

2. For now, students are mostly not reading each other's work.

3. The students do activities in "Activities" section and then they have to somehow get it over to the discussion.

Is there an easy way to do it?

Thank you!

Yes, Tim, if it was just a text, it would not be a problemsmile. But it is supposed to be something like a questionnaire or a quiz.

Is it possible to make a button "Share to discussion board"?

Questionnaires and quizzes are per user activities, only that user can see them.  A student would have to either using the Snipping tool to screenshot them, or copy paste them.

You may want to look at using the following activities where all students can see them:

  • Choice - have students take the choice, and then create a discussion forum to talk about it.
  • Wiki - students create documents together.
  • Glossaries - students create a discussion topics- the glossary automatically generates discussion forums on each topic.
  • Workshop - great for peer editing of documents, comments, etc.
