We have just recently upgraded to 1.5.2+ and we are in the process of preparing materials for our workshops for our instructors. We've noticed that there is now a group function sitewide, including for quizzes (we are upgrading from version 1.4.5)
In my personal testing I haven't really noticed that there is any advantage to using groups with quizzes, but I haven't really had time to toy around with it as much as I would have liked. Is there anyone who has used separate/visible groups with quizzes, and if so, what differences does it make within a course?
I teach several sections of the same course. The group function allows me to separate these groups and analyse there scores against individuals who receive the same instruction.
