Teaching with Moodle

I wanted to use badges on Moodle 2.8 version by creating a separate moodle page for faculty and all the CPD event and activities to showcase on that page.Further I wanted to create badges that can be given to teacher once they show evidence of the activity undertaken as indicated for the same.For example: Gamification Badge- Activity - Show the evidence of actually using gamification in your teaching practices.I also read through moodle documentation on creating badges and how can we link it to activity but does not take about showcasing evidence of the same.I am sure many of your must have tried this sort of thing so please advise how can i go about doing it. Company would like to spend additionally on any sort of open badges
