Is there any risk to installing updated plugins after a moodle upgrade? Documentation suggests placing the plugins in the correct folders before the upgrade and so both moodle and the plugins install/update at the same time.
I would like to upgrade moodle from 3.1 to 3.3 and afterwards install my 6 updated plugins that are in use now. Our live moodle upgrades have struggled (dev site no problem) for the past 4 years (time outs/white pages/hanging/inactivity on server) so I thought simplifying the upgrade by not including the plugins might help.
currently on Moodle 3.1, windows2008r2/IIS7.5
