Add "Test settings" link for local plugins

Hi,

The Manage authentication and Manage enrol plugins pages have a Test settings column for an optional link for individual plugins to implement if appropriate.

Is there any way to implement this for a local plugin? (And if not, shouldn't there be?!).

Not like that. You can always add that functionality manually to your local plugin global settings page.

And if not, shouldn't there be?!

Why? Nobody deemed it important so it was not implemented. If you feel strong about it open an issue and start coding smile
