Hiding a Principal (user type) from Students Visibility?

Hi all, we have a few role types, Dean, Principal, Reviewer, etc.


We have category enrolled them so they have access to the courses. 


However, they now show up in the participants list for the course, and students are confused. We have to hide these roles from view. How can we achieve this?

What did you base the roles on? From memory, the manager role doesn't show in participant lists etc.
