Francesco,
I will have a toggle for showing the enhanced Course display or the default course displays for Moodle 3.5. I was able to isolate just the changes to course listings and the other functions such as the Customized Module Chooser panel. So now if you revert back to normal Moodle course listings you can still enjoy the Customized Module Chooser in courses.
