Hello everyone,

Does anyone already use office365 with Multi Factor Authentication  in moodle?

Users with Multi Factor Authentication can not log in to moodle.

Has anyone ever had this problem?

I use an account with MFA enabled to login to Moodle with OpenID and I never had a problem.

To be more specific it is not the MSA from the premium AAD but the free MFA that is available for all O365 global admin, password are also authenticated over my ADFS infrastructure so local user are full SSO and Internet user receive the Microsoft login treatment.

So it could definitely work.

Hello,

In order to work the MFA in moodle, was there any specific configuration?

Can you be more specific?

Hi,

I installed the O365 integration folowing these instruction https://docs.moodle.org/34/en/Office365 and it just worked out of the box for me, MFA user could logon as well as non MFA one. Moodle is version 3.4.2

So no there was no MFA specific config to the configuration to make it work on my installation, user logon experience is exactly the same on Moodle as it is for Outlook web acces for example.
