Problems with display of HotPot in Moodle

Hello,
I'm a teacher who has been using both HP and Moodle for quite a while. I recently bought the book Hacking HP ... by Stan Bogdanov and I've been trying some of the recipes offered there. When I've uploaded an exercise made with JQuiz with an embedded text using facelift, the exercise is displayed properly on my browser, but it is not when I upload it onto Moodle. By properly I mean that my browser shows a screen divided vertically, whereas Moodle shows the text on the top half and the questions at the bottom, tangled up with the logout buttons and so on.
I've tried both my school's site and Gordon Bateson's using the guest teacher account and the results are the same. I enclose a couple of screenshots.
Has anyone got an idea of what the problem may be?
Thanks for your help.
