i have got problem to login the cvs under window, although i follow the cvs guide, it always prompts for password. does any one success to login?

If you work behind a firewall make sure you have port 2401 open.

I have the same problem. I tried to open the port in Norton Internet Security but it did no good. I even dropped the firewall entirely to see if that made any difference but I still get the password request. WIndows firewall is off.

Any ideas?
