Disable Link on The Office 365 Connection Settings Page

How Can I disable or remove a link from the Office 365 connection settings page?  I do not want users to be able to choose one of the links from this page because it forces their profiles to change the authentication type.  They should be using LDAP as their authentication method, but when clicking on this particular link, it changes their authentication method to OPENID which is not what we want.  The following picture is from the page that i need to disable the link.  Either disable it, redirect it, or take this out.

Remove Office 365 altogether and use Google Apps, if you can. Anything that demands then imposes that sort of control over your system is just not worth your support, it is a security hazard.

Bit late, but maybe still useful:

Go to

Site administration > Users > Permissions > Define roles

"Prohibit" the following permissions for the roles you don't want to be able to change (or for "Authenticated user" if for everyone):

  • OpenID Connect
    • Allow OpenID Connection and Disconnection
    • Allow OpenID Connection
    • Allow OpenID Disconnection
If you also don't want them to be able to connect their Office365 and Moodle account, change:

  • Microsoft Office365 Integration
    • Manage Connection Link
    • Manage Connection Unlink
