I am just wondering whether it was a wrong installation or what?, becuase after installing my Moodle 1.5.3, I happened to find that journal does not appear. In the previous Moodle 1.5.2 which I am using on another site, has journal and I was trying transferring my old site which is using the old version to use the new version becuase the way journals were created in the old site, was not done in a systematic way. But I am stuck because I can't see Journal in the new version. IS there the equivalent?
I welcome your assistance and looking forward to having this done.

The journal is disabled in the new version. The admin can enable it in the system administration. You can better use the new assignement tool for journals.
