Hi!
This time wondering if it's possible to set up a chat on a Moodle so that a chat box appears automatically in the corner of the page when a user logs in?
I'm using Moodle Core 3.3.3

AFAIK, Moodle does not offer that kind of functionality in core, there are a couple of plugins that may be useful. One is VM Chat another is Global Chat but I am not sure of the current maintenance standards any of them apply. So may or may not be of any value to you. Of course, if you have the skill set, or know someone with the skill set, you or they could take over maintaining one of these if it looks like it could be useful to you.
