Get e-Mail notification for "remind me to grade by" date?

Since Moodle 3.2 teachers got a cool new feature that allows them to set a date when to be reminded to grade an assignment.

Is there any way to turn that notification (currently shown in calendar and on dashboard), into a notification/e-Mail? That would help our teachers even more. Is there any interest from other people to request that feature?

I think this would be very desirable. It should'nt be more than a couple of lines to code this ( perhaps a new scheduled task to make this possible?) . Alternatively once could also install the following Email reminder plugin that integrates with the calendar. https://moodle.org/plugins/local_reminders
